“Sneakersnstuff (SNS) is a Swedish retailer renowned for its curated sneakers and streetwear, shaping global sneaker culture since 1999.”
I had an assignment to come up with a strategy for deserved marketing to make SNS grow outside of Stockholm - to reach the whole country and expand their followers.
Deserved marketing is a strategy centered around earning the attention and loyalty of consumers by delivering valuable content and experiences, rather than relying on interruptive advertising or promotions.
To gain attention smartly, I observed a trend among owners of the world's top sneaker, the white Air Force 1s. I noticed that many wore them in a dirty state, neglecting their upkeep. To draw attention to this, my concept was to do a giveaway: 100 individuals with the dirtiest Air Force 1s would receive a free pair of brand-new ones by trading in their old ones.
